New Portfolio Design

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

I updated my portfolio at junglestudio.com with a new, minimalist site design. It’s pretty sparse but the focus is on the selection of artwork, not website design or other fluff.

Check it out and let me know what you think-

Good Cheese back on Fernblossom!

Tuesday, January 2nd, 2007

The Good Cheese webcomic has found a new home, once again.

After a nearly 3-year run on the subscription manga site Wirepop, the comic entered a hiatus. I don’t have time to update the comic regularly, but rather than let it languish and take up space on someone else’s server, I’ve moved it back to my website. Prior to its overhaul and Wirepop run, Good Cheese was hosted on Keenspace, and before that on this site. So it’s really a homecoming, of sorts.

You’ll notice advertisements on the right- that’s the new revenue model for this comic. Although Wirepop had subscriptions, there wasn’t enough income to justify the time and labor invested into Good Cheese- it was always a labor of love. Now I’m hoping this model will be able to support the comic- with enough revenue I can continue the saga with new chapters!

Kelly @ GenCon SoCal

Wednesday, October 11th, 2006

I’ll be heading next month to GenCon SoCal. There will be live art demos and signing of PoxNora trading cards! I’ll only be there for the first half, so Friday onward you’ll have to settle for the other Octopi artists ;P

The next PoxNora expansion comes out in a few weeks. I got to play with the new stuff today and it’s looking awesome. The new art and animations are a big step up from the initial run. The next expansion is shaping up to be even more fun… lots of new abilities and tactics appearing in the new guys. I can hardly wait to show off all this stuff! Folks who drop by the Octopi table at GenCon will get a sneak peak for sure. Look for me there!
